In case of defects covered by the warranty during the validity period, Castelfidardo Musica undertakes to repair or replace the defective items at its discretion, at no cost to the customer.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, negligence, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or inadequate maintenance.

Any repairs or interventions by unauthorized third parties may void the warranty.

Assistance procedures: In case of a warranty-covered issue, please contact our customer service at the email address info@castelfidardomusica.it. You will need to provide a detailed description of the problem and purchase details.

Our support team will be happy to provide further guidance on the procedures to follow.

Warranty limitations: Please note that the warranty is valid only for the original buyer and is not transferable. Additionally, the warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear, aesthetic damages, or damages resulting from external causes such as natural disasters, accidents, or misuse.

Dispute resolution clause: For any dispute or claim arising from this warranty, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution through negotiation. In case an agreement is not reached, the parties agree to submit the matter to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

Yes, it's a solution we offer if you wish to reserve an item.

The item is reserved with a deposit equal to 10% of the amount (calculated on the total price excluding VAT).

The final balance must be paid within 365 days of the first deposit, otherwise the deposit will be retained by Castelfidardo Musica.

No further intermediate installments are accepted.

Can I request a VAT refund?

How does the Global Blue (Tax Free) service work in the store?

Global Blue's Tax Free Shopping is a free service that allows customers residing outside the EU to save significantly on the selling price of products by obtaining a refund of the VAT paid at the time of purchase. The refund will be processed once you have exported the purchased products.

Pagolight by Compass is an installment service active only in Italy (available only in-store).

It is not a real loan: in this case, a pay slip is not needed, and the monthly installments are paid by direct debit from the current account.

The maximum amount that can be paid in installments is 3000 EUR, and it offers the possibility of 1 to 12 installments. The service is free for up to 6 installments. From 6 to 12 installments, additional service charges are +4% of the amount (total including VAT).

Return Policy

If you change your mind about your order or purchase, you have 14 days from the delivery date to return your order using our return service. To arrange your return, please send us an email at info@castelfidardomusica.it or directly ad the page "Assistance".

The cost of returning the goods to Castelfidardo Musica is the responsibility of the consumer. Once the package has been returned to our store, the amount of the order will be refunded to you within 3-5 working days.

How can I return my order?

Once our team has assessed the compliance of your order with the return request, the item in question must be carefully packaged in its original packaging. The item must be returned to Castelfidardo Musica complete with all accessories, instruction manuals, and everything originally delivered to the consumer, and carefully packed in the original packaging. A copy of the electronic order receipt and the original receipt, if applicable, must be included with the returned product. The cost of returning the goods to Castelfidardo Musica is the responsibility of the consumer. Received the wrong product?

We apologize for this error. We will remedy it as quickly as possible. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. How long does a return take?

All returns are subject to our routine inspection. We will email you once the refund has been processed. Please note that some items require mandatory inspection by the brand and may take additional days. Refunds will be automatically issued to the original payment method used for the order. It may take up to 10 working days to see the refunds in your bank account, depending on your payment service provider.

Can I exchange my purchase for something else?

Although we generally do not offer exchanges for orders, there are situations where we may consider this proposal (within the legal return period, i.e., 14 days). Please contact us at info@castelfidardomusica.it to discuss your request.

Alternatively, you can easily return unwanted items to us for a refund (within the legal return period).

How much does shipping cost?

The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items and the destination country. 

Can I track my order?

You will receive an email when the package is ready to be handed over to the courier. The tracking link will activate a few hours after shipping, or the next working day if shipped on a weekend or holiday. Make sure your email address is correct to receive notifications. How can I preserve my accordion? (Care and maintenance)

Protect the instrument from dust and moisture, preferably storing it in its case after use.

Keep the instrument away from direct sources of heat and avoid exposing it to sunlight.

Do not subject the instrument to excessively cold temperatures. Low temperatures could temporarily compromise the instrument's functionality, so it is advisable to store it in an environment at around 20 degrees Celsius for at least 4-6 hours before use in cold conditions.

Clean the instrument only with a microfiber cloth and water, avoiding the use of non-specific or overly aggressive cleaners.

I want to sell my used accordion, how can I do that?

Castelfidardo Musica offers three different options in this regard:

  1. Certified Evaluation Document:

    • Cost: 20.00 EUR per instrument.
    • Useful for private sales through external channels.
    • Requires many photos and videos of the instrument’s functionality and interior.

  2. Consignment Sale at our Store:

    • Your instrument will be displayed in our store and on our website.
    • Before display, our technicians will perform a complete overhaul. Repairs may be required at your expense.
    • Procedure:
      1. Send your instrument via our courier.
      2. Technical evaluation and communication of repair costs.
      3. Agreement on the final sale price and contract signing.
      4. In case of sale, payment will be made after deducting commissions and VAT (20% commission, 22% VAT).
      5. If you do not agree with the terms, you can withdraw the instrument without additional costs.

  3. Direct Sale to Castelfidardo Musica:

    • Immediate purchase of your instrument in its current condition, without requiring repairs at your expense.
    • Requires detailed photos from all angles.
    • Procedure:
      1. Send photos for an initial evaluation.
      2. Pick-up of the instrument via our courier.
      3. Final evaluation at our headquarters.
      4. If the instrument meets our standards, we will proceed with immediate payment.
      5. If the offer does not meet your needs, you can withdraw the instrument at your expense. A handling fee of 10.00 EUR will be applied, in addition to shipping costs.

Attention: Not all instruments are accepted for purchase or consignment sale. Castelfidardo Musica reserves the right to accept or reject requests based on the specific characteristics of the instrument, store availability, market demand, and the monetary amount the client wishes to obtain from the sale.

How do I prepare my accordion or melodeon for shipping to the store and to benefit from the warranty?

Once our team has assessed the conformity of your order to the request to benefit from the warranty service, you will need to provide us with an address for the merchandise pickup.

The item should be returned to Castelfidardo Musica carefully packaged in the original packaging. A copy of the electronic order receipt and the original fiscal receipt should be included with the returned product.

IMPORTANT: Regarding accordions, pay close attention to locking the bass, so it does not arrive broken or damaged (see bass locking tutorial HERE).

Close the package securely and label the package (even with a marker) as FRAGILE.

Once the return is ready for shipping, please contact us to arrange pickup or provide instructions on how to proceed.

We kindly ask you to be present at the provided address for the merchandise pickup. This will ensure a timely and smooth delivery.

All returns are subject to our routine inspection before reaching the production companies.

Our company policies require the product to be evaluated by one of our technicians to proceed with the warranty service. This allows us to ensure that the defect is actually caused by a production issue and to take appropriate measures.

The time required to restore the instrument depends on the case. An indicative period will be communicated by our Team, but it may be subject to delays beyond our control.

What is bass locking (ACCORDION) and how is it done? (TUTORIAL)

Bass locking is a procedure done to protect the instrument during transport. This ensures that the bass is protected and secured, avoiding mechanical damage.

Castelfidardo Musica has developed a special system to lock the bass instruments before shipping, using a specific, powerful adhesive tape that allows the customer to avoid opening the instrument for unlocking before use. Removing the adhesive tape is intuitive and simple.

However, if the customer needs to return the instrument to the store for warranty or other reasons, the adhesive tape cannot be reused, so the customer must lock the instrument using the traditional method, with a custom-cut piece of cardboard, and opening the bass case.
